About Twizz Heath

Caleb “Twizz” Heath, age 19, is one of Alabama’s most promising up-and-coming drummers, building a fast-growing reputation in jazz for versatility, feel, and musical maturity. He attends Jacksonville State University on scholarship and became the principal lead drum set player for JSU Jazz Big Band 1 and Combo 1 immediately as a freshman. Within his first year in the jazz scene, he has performed regularly at notable Alabama venues, including Pogo Piccolo and the Alabama Jazz Hall of Fame, among others. On a national level, Twizz has also performed at the Jazz Education Network (JEN) Conference, taking part in a featured showcase and gaining experience on one of jazz education’s most visible stages
